He’s not my Pope.
Just like Biden is not my president.
The Catholic Church is an institution but the Catholic Faith is a way of life and a belief system. Christ is the way the truth and the life and no matter how corrupt the church become as an institution our faith does not change.
Pray for our faithful Bishops. They are in the enemy’s path.
This pope is a tyrant.
Mr. Bergoglio has forgotten which team he is supposed to be playing for.
Oh, he knows…and unfortunately, it’s not the Catholic team.
Paul did speak out against slavery.
Titus 2: 9:”Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well-pleasing to them in all things; not gainsaying, not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.”
If Paul had focused on freeing the slaves, that’s all he would be remembered for. His focus was on freedom from the effects on sin - not our position in society. The church today would be well to mind Paul’s focus on Salvation.
