HOUSTON (AP) — About 10,000 mail ballots were tabulated but not counted in Texas' most populous county on the day of last week's election, officials said, adding to the delay in determining some winners in the nation's first primary of the 2022 midterms... The AP will tabulate the additional votes from Harris County and update its vote count.

Why does this always seem to occur in democrat cities and counties? And there never seems to be any effective process corrective action taken to preclude a repeat of this violation of public trust.

It’s a primary. How does it make the Democrat a winner?

To be fair, these people are not miracle workers; the ballots took time and effort to print.

One question that I would have, before we pursue this one too far, was the difference in votes between the top candidates less than the number of uncounted ballots. I believe that traditionally in times past, in many places across the country, late or overseas ballots were not counted if their number was less than the outstanding difference between candidates. If counting them wouldn’t make a difference, sometimes they were simply not counted.

“Texas county finds 10K uncounted ballots from primary day”

Since it happened in Harris County, the location of Houston-that should read “Texas county finds 10K just manufactured democrat votes supposedly from primary day”...

There is something about keeping track of ballots that just seems to be too much for democrats to handle.

We need a law stating no late ballots. If they “find” a box or pallet of ballots that were not counted they should be disqualified. If people feel their votes were not counted, publish the names of those involved and the citizens can take it up with them.

At my Republican polling site, 1/2 the machines were not working, had 1.5 hour wait to vote

Your point made but there sure is a motive to cheat even in a primary. On the rat side the progressives get bumped up while on the gop side the rinos get bumped up.

Why is such a simple task of collecting, securing and counting the votes so damn complicated and complex for these people? HITF do you misplace 10,000 ballots? No one buys this BS!

Finding boxes of ballots in a primary is a tradition older than LBJ running for re-election to the Senate.

How are they uncounted? After voting, you enter your ballot into a machine that scans it and tells you, “You have voted!” One would think that is where the counting occurs, pending transmission of the data.

“ It’s a primary. How does it make the Democrat a winner?”.

It does if all the uncounted ballots are for the Dim primary, and none for the GOP primary. A good practice run for November.

To me, “ballots from primary day” means votes cast at the polls on primary day. Journalism is dead.

These were mail in ballots.

If the 2020 election was an indicator, the percentage of mismatched signatures, and votes from dead people (and maybe even pets ;>), might be higher with mail-in ballots than ballots cast at polling places...
