Are reincarnating the AVG ? Takes a bit more to keep planes in the air today than 100 oct gas and a mechanic who knows how to change plugs and repair a carburetor. MIGs and SUs require a tad more maintenance than a P40.
However the Russian Air Force has not been a stellar performer so far. It seems yesterday especially was a bad day.

That’s about ... 2-3 million people in Kyiv with no food, water, electricity, sewage, medicine or fuel.... think of whatever city you live near or in... and think of how long they would last with no food, fuel, water, or medicine delivery...
You can have jets, missiles, guns etc.... but without food and water... they don’t work very well.
They are screwed. Brave but ...screwed. ]
Note that Finland and Poland held the Russians off and got their independence, despite having been under the Russian boot for hundreds of years. And the Russians of today aren’t, unlike those of WWII fighting an invader bent on killing them to the last man, woman and child, and had killed millions of civilians and POW’s a downpayment on that objective:

Fight to save your family from being exterminated, and fight to make Putin Vladimir the Greater are very different types of objectives. If you surrender to the WWII Germans, they starve you to death. If you surrender to today’s Ukies, they hand you over to the EU where you get generous welfare bennies while you find work and figure out how to bring the rest of your family over.

The United States has never allowed any foreign government to but F-22s. Technology is too advanced to trust any nation.
Supplying weapons is the same thing as using them. That would make this an act of war.
