I suspect if we need to take potassium iodide, we will have bigger problems to worry about anyway.
I know, I know. I live in a rural area far away from any obvious targets. A nationwide, totally saturating EMP attack would be more devastating than the actual bomb blasts. One year after such a very limited nuclear EMP attack we would have seen the starvation of 75% of our population. But I have grandchildren, you desperately reach for any straw in such a situation.
