Congressional staffs are the “deep state” members that control Congress. Our elected representatives frequently pass legislation containing hundreds or thousands of pages of requirements, spending authorizations, provisions for the favored members of the aristocracy, and rules for the little people. This bills are written by staff members and are not read by our elected representatives before the vote. Likely even passed bills are today altered by staff members in the world processor before the bill goes into the Congressional record.
Nancy Pelosi once said about a piece of legislations, “We have to pass it to find out what is in it.” Essentially all our representatives do is rubber stamp the agenda of the bureaucracy. Term limits will do nothing to reign in the Congressional staffers working in tandem with the permanent bureaucracy of the executive branch. As you stated, the only answer is slashing the size and funding of the Federal government.
What I would like to know is when did Putin become paranoid and delusional? In the many years Putin has led Russia, I can’t recall any claims that he was mentally ill. Instead, he was seen as a cunning and cold-blooded ex-KGB boss who was not afraid to exercise power directly or covertly. Only after he seized upon the collective weakness of the Europeans and the dithering incompetence of our own President to move into Ukraine did he suddenly become crazy. This reminds me of how the media in our country, aided by a psychiatrist who never met President Trump offered her “professional” opinion that he was crazy. In my view, the armchair assessment of Putin, based on anonymous sources, is as worthless as the efforts to smear President Trump.
But that woild,interrupt the corrupt dirty deals being made right now between Russia, Iran, China and the US where Biden is,lifting sanctions onmthe terrorist nation, and also lifting individual,sanctions agaisnt several hard core terrorist,leaders, and is also offering to buy oil from iran,, giving them billions to pursue nuclear weapons with.
