“We are not going to take any sort of economic reprisal because we want to have good relations with all the governments in the world,” López Obrador told a news conference.

Smart. FWIW, the time to do something about Ukraine was before the war. Now they have to fight the Russians. We have to be careful not to antagonize Russia, I'm not trying to get nuked here.

The US needs to invade the northern Mexican States and take out the cartels.

So far only hard core allies of the US have joined the sanctions, no one ekse.

The msm would like you to think that Biden has united the world against Russia when it is not even anywhere near that.

Its interesting to see who is committed to friendliness or neutrality to the Putin government. AMLO, a leftist populist (and he really is, in economic policy), is sounding a lot like Bolsonaro, a rightist populist.

Its not really a matter of left or right.

For the same reasons, in reverse, that Putin invaded Ukraine, the U.S. should invade Mexico..

We could use about 10-divisions of MIVs as the cannon fodder...

There is not much point for Obrador to delcare sanctions on Russia, when how much control the Mexican government actually has over the country is a open question.
"Mexican government admits 80% of its populated territory is run by cartels, including key border" (June 3, 2019).
