She left out part of her story when she told her dad what went on.
Her father should have explained to her that it is ignorant to be the only black person around , amidst drunken white people standing putside a bar at night, and stand there insulting the white people who are drunk and infuriated.

The black woman was foolish to intervene. "The Narrative" offers her no protection from real violence. I am pleased that she got away without more serious injuries and hope she will be more cautious in the future.
I would not attempt to scold a belligerent drunken bum of any race without four good men at my side.
