The first season was very good. But then I’m a big fan of jewish style humor. Second season, ... eh, it had plenty of good moments like Maisel’s manager lurking around the Catskills pretending to be employed by carrying a tool.

The new season -tonight will be the third episode- so far is landing somewhere between the first two seasons.

The first season had a few nice musical sequences, like when Maisel walks through the garment district on the way to her in-law's garment factory.

One of the things I have really liked about it, is the fashion of the decade that they are in. Mrs. Maizel can really rock a hat. The clothes are just wonderful; but, I suppose that is going to end as we enter the 60's.

The clothing that Midge wears on her trip to Paris in Season 2, was outstanding, really great looks.
