MOSCOW, February 24./TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he had made the decision to hold a special military operation in response to address of leaders of the Donbass republics.
"People's republics of Donbass approached Russia with request for help. In connection<...>I made the decision to hold a special military operation. Its goal is to protect the people that are subjected to abuse, genocide from the Kiev regime for eight years, and to this end we will seek to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine and put to justice those that committed numerous bloody crimes against peaceful people, including Russian nationals," Putin said in the television address...

Hard to see how the Left can complain about Putin if he’s getting rid of Nazis.

In point of fact, many Ukrainians did join the Wehrmacht because they hated Stalin. And many participated in war crimes. How many actually exist in Ukraine who actually celebrate that heritage is questionable, but certainly exaggerated by Putin for his reasons.
His speech writers need to be sacked. How can they miss the “racism” in the Ukrainian government. Sure nazis are bad, but they pale in comparison to racists. And fortunately, like nazi, the term racist only means you don’t agree with them.
Lol, Putin is going to "denazify Ukraine" by toppling Ukraine's Jewish President Volodymyr Zelensky.
If our country is going to call a bunch of people who got invited into the Capitol ‘Insurrectionists’, then I have trouble getting on Putin’s case for calling the Ukrainian hooligans ‘Nazis’.

Based on the uniforms some Ukrainian units have with “SS” on them showing their Nazi collaborator heritage from World War 2 Putin is actually waging war against some real Nazis in Ukraine.
There’s a Ukrainian soldier in one picture in the story and you see the “SS” patch clearly on it.

Because after the Soviets killed millions of Ukrainians in the 30’s, many of those left joined up with the Germans in 1941. Many of these Ukrainians still hate the Russians. The enemy of the enemy is my friend.

Don’t get excited about this, freedom here in the USA is much more important than someone else’s fight over there.
