Don’t hate Putin...don’t love him either
I respect him for his patriotism to the country of his birth.
“I respect him for his patriotism to the country of his birth.”
I’d judge him based on the quality of life Russia’s citizens have.
And also the actions his government is taking toward the Russians.
I don’t know much about Russia or Putin.
I learn bits and pieces as I take in the news.
He is what he is, much like Popeye.
I have Russian friends, now American citizens. They don’t like Putin but tell me he is building churches all over Siberia; good for the Russkies. Overflowing with young people also.
Is he a murdering Devil—Yes—but so is prince Charles (just ask Diana) and Bill Clinton (just ask mr. Brown) So too others— Is he a strong man—yes. Does he love his nation? I believe so. Is is a Christian? That’s up to the Lord, I can not see into his heart. He may have seen those he killed as treasonous and deserving only death. If it was in the best interests of Russia for anyone to die—they would be gone—even you!
Putin is a SOB but he’s in his own pond so I don’t really care. Bad for Ukraine. Not our problem. Putin started off strong in Russia but in the last ten years, things have stagnated in Russia. Putin’s corrupt so he’s enriching himself at the expense of his country. But for the Russians, things could get worse. And they were really bad in the ‘90s.
