Either they're doing it or not. If they're not doing it, then it's "diversion" from Biden. If they're doing it, then they're fookin' doing it and Biden's only role in it is that he's a pathetic and weak leader.

Putin is running the KGB playbook: lots of Psywar and unconventional warfare. There will be no invasion of all of Ukraine. We’ll just see more of the same. Maybe threats to annex the fairy tale “separatist” republics, parading the Russian army into them, etc. There are lots of escalatory steps he can still take without trying to sack Kyiv.
