Durham’s motion to investigate potential conflicts of interest between Michael Sussman and his attorney, the law firm of Latham & Watkins’ core point:
<><>that Hillary’s campaign, acting through the Perkins Coie law firm, spied on Trump.
Bongino’s two main takeaways:
<><>Govt evidence will establish that among the Internet data Tech Executive-1 and his associates exploited was domain name system (“DNS”) Internet traffic ....
<><>Internet traffic strongly implies that DNS info, sites accessed, isn’t the only info involved.
<><>Durham might show other Internet data that the Hillary camp exploited, such as emails or shared documents.
Plus....Bongino thinks the real bombshell is that Durham is warning Sussman that Latham & Watkins is a very dangerous law firm to have representing him.
From an internet engineer perspective, why just the DNS traffic? If you have a tap somewhere, why not just read the whole stream?
Is it because DNS traffic was until recently mostly unencrypted, or because it’s too hard to release anything else without giving up the whole game?
