That was the case when Ukraine was a vassal state of Russia. Burisma was connected at the hip to Russian oligarchs, especially Gazprom. The new Maidan government investigated this until Obama told them not to. And now Hunter gets kickbacks directly from Gazprom.

We have no business in NATO.

I don’t blame. They don’t think any member of ball-less and brain-less NATO would stand by them.

There is the little problem of all the arms we’re giving them, though. And then there’s the Minsk Agreement the Ukrainians refuse to implement.

This is just a Russian talking point. Russians themselves are not abiding by the agreement by removing illegal artillery and other weapons from Donetsk. In fact, they're shooting them at the Ukrainians every other day. Ukraine can't withdraw weapons when they're being actively shot at by the Russians who, by the way, also chase out all inspectors/investigators from the area.

Same thing with your "Putchst" bullshit in the other post. Yanukovych fled the country after having people beaten up live television in the snow, kidnapping journalists and leaving their faces a bloody mush, and threatening people with jail time for protesting, followed up finally with mass murder from snipers.

After he fled, the Ukrainian Rada voted something like 338-0 to remove him from office. Was it done completely legally? Technically no, because he needed to be charged by the Supreme Court of Ukraine first before they could do that. But who gives a shit? Ukraine has had a ton of elections since then, and each one has the Ukrainian people voting to affirm their government and resist Russian aggression.

So all this "coup" bullshit is, well, just bullshit.

Anyway, your posting this really caught my eye, as I have been thinking for some time the easiest way out of the mess there would be for Ukraine to amend their constitution thusly.

I'm sure the Ukrainians are glad to have little Putinist trolls like you to advise them on such matters.

I don’t even pretend to know what you mean by that. It is, physically, in Europe. Yes.

Biden was literally stuffing aid money the US was pretending to give Ukraine into Hunter’s pants during 8 years as VP. Now, his puppet administration has made a present of the Ukraine to Russia after previously helping Russia to get the gas pipeline it wanted to Europe.

I’d rather have a President who was looking out for America. I’m not rabidly anti-Russian, but I’m not looking to rebuild the former Soviet Union, either.

Why bother, when it seems almost no country is ready to defend them against Russia? Lots of talk, not much more.

Well it shouldn’t be any of our business, but Joe and Hunter have made it our business.

I bet Russian forces begin dispersing, and that Biden rhetoric increases.

If 30,000 Russian troops is way it takes to keep corrupt U.S. politicians from sending their crackhead sons over there to enrich their families at the expense of U.S. taxpayers, then I’d say this is #WINNING.

Here is the takeaway.

Ukraine is a sovereign country. It is their decision.
If they choose that path, they should be unencumbered to follow their sovereign right to do what they wish.

The state of the country puts them in an undesirable category at the present.

Now, this is a twitter tweet, so we need to let this story develop. They should demand that the Russians leave Ukraine in the East, for doing this.

They’re better off neutral. Serves Switzerland well. Even if they impeached Biden or he dropped dead tomorrow, twenty years from now some other invincibly stupid POS would come along and try to cover his epic blunders and sagging poll numbers with another war involving Ukraine. Under these conditions, putative membership in NATO is not an asset.

That sounds too good to be true. Expect Nuland to release flying monkeys aka Galician Nazis to burn down Kiev again.

English BBC, my butt! Shouldn’t “Ukraine is considering no longer joining NATO”, be “Ukraine is no longer considering joining NATO”?

So countries that Russia illegally occupied at the end of WWII now want to join an alliance. Not sure what the problem is.
