Imagine collecting money for causes - but skimming over 10 percent off the top and more (making money on the held money). When others ask me to give via GoFundMe, I decline and give the money directly to the receiver so they get 100 percent of my money. A lot of people don't understand that GoFundMe are thieves and take 10 percent.
That explains why the donation totals were being reported at $10 million & then GFM announced that they were giving $9 Million to charities of THEIR choice.
