The mayor of New York, Eric Adams, is encouraging anyone who has crossed paths with Sarah Palin in the last couple of days to get tested for covid

'We encourage any New Yorker who came into contact with Sarah Palin to get tested, just as we encourage all New Yorkers to get tested regularly, especially those who believe they may have been exposed to COVID-19,' Adams said through spokesman Jonah Allon said.
'By repeatedly flouting CDC guidelines, Ms. Palin has shown a complete disregard for the health and safety of small business workers and her fellow patrons,' Allon said.
'The city offers multiple resources to support isolation for those who test positive for COVID-19, and we encourage Ms. Palin to join the 98 percent of New Yorkers who report they have followed guidance on isolation and have helped New York City stop the spread.'

Yep, and, half of the staff, who work at these restaurants, and, possibly “crossed paths” with Sarah, are likely unvaccinated illegals! I doubt they enforce testing OR $hot status, on them.

I have no quarrel with informing those with whom he may have come in contact that there's not any danger to them. When I had it November before last I let the basketball guys and others I'd been around recently know, as a courtesy. But I suspect your buddy was more concerned with being ostracized by other libs than a health notice.

My whole point is that his notification was completely senseless: "Hey, folks! I'm COVID-negative! Hurrah! Instead, I have some other unpleasant and perhaps highly communicable and deadly infection! Hurrah!"
Understand: He found out that he didn't have COVID - instead, he had some other and perhaps even more problematic infectious disease!
He hadn't tested himself "out of the blue." He had tested himself because he was feeling miserable. But since he now knows that he doesn't have COVID, he thinks that no precautions are necessary. In actuality - I'm saying - he should quarantine himself as though he had COVID.
