Like much of Central Texas, Liberty Hill Independent School District has seen major growth over the last few years.

“I have only been here three years and we have grown from a little over 4,000 students to just over 7,000 in those three years,” said Steve Snell, Liberty Hill ISD superintendent. “About 30% of our new families were moving from California, 30% were moving from the other urban areas in Texas. Houston, Dallas, San Antonio.”

Liberty Hill used to be a little spot in the road with one red light. A lot of the students he's counting as local were CA invaders from prior years.

Flashing back a decade or so ago when Texas government openly advertised on national TV to a California audience to move their businesses to Texas ...

Traffic in Liberty Hill is getting almost as bad as Georgetown.

Many of them are bringing the same leftist/liberalism they are fleeing from.

They will try to remake Liberty Hill and similar ‘growing’ communities into the same kind of s*itholes they moved from.

Why are they going to Liberty Hill? Is there something there attracting them to that area?

20 - 25 years ago they were calling for tech workers in boston to move to austin. The website was something like boston-to-austin.com

Blame all of that and the fact that Texas will soon be Purple on Rick Perry. And that momentum has eagerly been kept up by Abbott.

Thinking that all the transplants will become “Texans”. Ha ha ha ha

Why are they going to Liberty Hill?

Because they have already turned Austin into a liberal cesspool with house prices now almost as high as the California cesspools that they fled. So now they are invading the surrounding communities.

Well, if it weren't for the transplants, Beto would have become Senator in 2018. Native Texans voted for Beto 51-48. Transplants voted for Cruz 57-42.

Cheaper (relatively) new housing. Better schools. Less crime. Less congestion (for now). Sadly, I think the "work from home" pattern developed under the COVID-19 lockdowns will allow liberals to move away from the densely populated cities.

And in the 4 years since, with massive migration out of high tax, blue states to places like Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, what will happen the next t time?

Time will tell.

At the end of the day, the Governors and legislators of those states are selling out Conservatives to liberal companies that are bringing their liberal workers with them.

On a side note, I’m not saying your info is wrong, but how does one even come up with that math?

Lower housing costs and proximity to Highway 183, which is an interstate-grade highway that leads to Leander, Cedar Park and North Austin.

Ok.

A poll from a liberal paper, in a blue city, in a state that is trending to possibly going Purple, because the past and recent Governor did and continue to recruit liberals from far and wide.

Whatever….

Actually, the poll was forwarded from CNN. But if you want to discount all polls because every single one of them comes from a liberal source, go ahead. I saw enough native Texans with Beto shirts on in late 2018 to make me want to puke. Our 20-something kid, who moved to Texas in mid-2016, did not vote for Beto.

Texas won’t survive the onslaught and will become blue within a generation.

“Texas won’t survive the onslaught and will become blue within a generation.”

They said that a generation ago, too.
