Not only are all three flying branches moving forward with their procurements, several foreign nations are buying the F-35, including the most recent competition win by the F-35A in Finland to replace their aging Legacy Hornet F/A-18s. The F-35A won out over the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet, Dassault Rafael, Eurofighter Typhoon, and Saab Gripen.
