And around town he was known as, you guess it.. “Dick’’.
In this case, getting where she has without changing her name, which she could have done at any time, suggests if nothing else a certain strength of character. The same could be said of a recent head of the Royal Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Sir Jock Stirrup. Imagine what life must have been like at school for those two.
