Quick facts Burkina Faso is a landlocked country in West Africa that covers an area of around 274,200 square kilometres and is bordered by Mali to the northwest, Niger to the northeast, Benin to the southeast, Togo and Ghana to the south, and the Ivory Coast to the southwest.

Please tell this means they will go back to being called Upper Volta.

That settles it. Biden will send 50,000 troops to maintain the territorial integrity of Burkina Faso.

Upper Volta? It could be even worse if the army is being helped by extraterrestrials.

Too bad OUR army doesn’t act to contain a communist insurgency...but on the other hand would we want Milley as our CIC?

The prez didn't have good vaxx numbers.
The Vaxx Conglomerate probably decided to "help out" with that situation...

Was this the inspiration for the African country in the Christopher Walken film ‘The Dogs of War’? Great film by the way with an early role for the “Al Bundy” characters actor. ? Ed Harris?

Burkina Faso means “Land of Incorruptible Men”.

Milley in charge of the coup? Isn’t that redundant?

It was mythical Zangaro, and in the gen. vicinity of Congo. They put in at Brazzaville.
..
Great book, like everything by Forsyth. Walken was fine, but I’d have tried to cast Michael Caine as Cat Shannon.

Michael Caine would have been outstanding d.
To be fair, Walken showed he could take a severe screen beating just as well as Brando in ‘On the Waterfront’, another amazing film. Have you seen Walken dancing to ‘Weapon of Choice’ by Fatboy Slim?
Required music video viewing. Walken was an old hand at song and dance before he hit it big acting.

so, Burkina Faso, is an actual country, huh?
