Sheldon Silver, the Democratic powerhouse who ruled Albanyuntil he was convicted on federal corruption charges in a stunning fall from grace, has died. He was 77.
Silver died in prison while serving out a six-and-a-half-year sentence — most recently at a federal medical center in Middlesex, Massachusetts — after he was convicted in 2018 for accepting nearly $4 million in bribes, his former chief of staff Judy Rapfogul confirmed to The Post.
His cause of death wasn’t immediately clear. Shelly did many wonderful things for the community and the state,” Rapfogul said by phone as she choked up.

Just another power rich swindler.....NY State has many of these characters and why it’s in the bad shape it’s in....living off Gov. revenue for “states of emergencies” props them up all the time.
Thank you God. Now how about doling out some punishment to those evil individuals, who have abused the power of their office, and benefited not only monetarily, but politically because of that abuse, while not only bearing false witness against President Trump, his family, friends, and supporters, but also for stealing an election, and trying to destroy this country, and everything we love and cherish.
You felt well enough to take that $4 million dollars in bribes. Hope you were in agony right up til the time you drew your last breath. You were a liar, and a hypocrite, but then most Democrats are.

Nobody goes into politics to do “wonderful things” for their constituents. It’s about power initially and usually ends with corruption.
