I met Pop when on the first day he was hired. He was at a sports bar next to my mother’s hospital. I shook his hand and immediately noticed all of the craters on his face. Somehow all of the spackling done on his face for the past 25 years has kept him together. Until now. A chip on the facade explodes like a ‘Casceroni’ at Fiesta San Antonio.
