There's that. But you might make every country hesitant to admit to any new disease. That would be unfortunate. Worse they might want to intentionally send it into neighboring countries while hiding their own outbreak. So they can blame others.

But the person who said the funders and enablers should be held accountable to, is correct. And if Fauci is guilty and he held public office in the U.S. does that make the U.S . liable?

It's a mess. China has also paid a high price. They've had to quarantine and lock down and weld doors.

The best thing we can do is move our manufacturig away from China. Increase tariffs over time to effect the change and to avoid a shock to our own economy. And never fund something like that again.

You could go after China for trying to corner the world market on PPE. That was a dastardly act and more provable.
