Tennis legend Chris Evert, who won 18 Grand Slam singles titles and three Grand Slam doubles titles in her career, said Friday she has been diagnosed with stage 1 ovarian cancer.

Prognosis is not optimistic for most. Prayers for her.
Just checked the fact checkers. The covid vaccines don’t cause ovarian cancer.
Within the past few years, I drove Chris to the drug store during my service as a volunteer driver. She is truly as nice a person as I have ever met. She loves California and is enthusiastic about the natural beauty of the state. Was telling me what I needed to see during my upcoming visit.
Sounds like she might have the brca gene issue. Elsewhere it said she had a preventative hysterectomy....unless she did it because they found a mass.
They caught hers early.
Just so women know..there is a blood test called inhibin. Your dr may not think about it. Ask for it if you are post menopausal.Doesnt mean you have cancer..my mass was generating it but i got lucky with no ovarian cancer.
They might not cause it, but if they meddle enough with your natural immunity they might prevent your body from nipping it in the bud when it crops up.
Btw..ovarian cancer is the big red flag with gene tests..you skip to the head of the line even before breast cancer. I think that was the only factor needed for my brca test but cant remember.
Ashkenazi jew heritage is another line skipper for the free test
Think he might have been sarcastic.
Ovaries have been a big concern with covid vax

Prayers for a full and speedy recovery for Ms. Evert.
Her sister Jeannie used to bring her out to play golf at Quail Ridge in Boynton. Just a beautiful, classy woman who has a smile for anyone. Get well Chrissie!
Looks like thyroids should be, too...
Dana Farber in Boston...Sloan Kettering in New york...MD Anderson in Houston: Stage I = no big deal.
I’m delighted her cancer was caught so early.
I’m wondering why that happened.
Especially if there was no family history...
My wife and Ms. Everett could have been sisters.
Visually they look a LOT alike, although my wife is taller with a little thinner face.
When younger my wife could likely have done well on the women’s pro tennis circuit, but she was kind enough to marry me instead.
When we started dating she in invited me to play some tennis.
Kicked.My.A$$. 😉
She won Atlantas A level doubles 7 months pregnant. Later won a coed fast serve contest not because she was fastest, but because she got them ALL in.
Christy was kinda my wife’s tennis idol back then, since Christy’s a couple years older.
I wish her the best.
I had mine removed after a mass was found on one of them. Dr said to be safe to remove both so it was done.
Cancer is terrifying and relentless. I hope she recovers.
Amen.
Stupid auto correct.
C h r I s s y, not Christy
Mrs. Blueflag just chastised me: she won DOUBLE A women’s 7 Mos. pregnant.
That’s good news. Thanks.
Wow, neat. She was always classy on the court that’s for sure. A little different then say, Serena.
