McConnell Slams Biden, Calls Atlanta Speech 'Deliberately Divisive'

Good morning and welcome to Fox News First. Here's what you need to know as you start your day …

McConnell fires back at Biden's 'profoundly unpresidential' speech: 'Deliberately divisive'
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell fired back at President Biden on Wednesday, one day after Biden's flawed election-overhaul speech in Georgia, with McConnell alleging Biden's speech "undermines democracy."

McConnell torched the president from the Senate floor, tearing into Biden over his widely panned speech, calling it a "deliberately divisive" and one that was "designed to pull our country further apart."

The Kentucky Republican said Biden "called millions of Americans his domestic enemies" in the speech and "shouted that if you disagree with him, you’re George Wallace."

"George Wallace?" McConnell continued. "If you don’t pass the laws he wants, you’re Bull Connor, and if you oppose giving Democrats untrammeled, one-party control of the country, well you’re Jefferson Davis."

McConnell also slammed Biden for invoking the Civil War "to demonize Americans who disagree with him" and pointed out that the president compared "a bipartisan majority of senators to literal traitors."

"How profoundly, profoundly unpresidential," McConnell said. "Look, I’ve known, liked and personally respected Joe Biden for many years. I did not recognize the man at the podium yesterday."

I don't care much for McConnell, but the speech he gave on the floor was good.

You can hear it at the link.

He should say that if the “voting rights” bill is passed, the RNC will sign up all the illegal aliens to vote for Trump. That would put some doubt in the minds of the Dems.

Meh, McConnell is just annoyed that his good friend Biden said bad things about Republican senators.

Mitch helped put him there. So part of the blame for this debacle falls squarely on him.

I did not recognize the man at the podium yesterday.

In other words, Biden's dementia has progressed to the point that he will read anything put in front of him. Next they'll have him singing Doo-wop songs to garner Black support.

Biden was in ATL for one reason: to pander to his favorite minority.

Well then I hate to be the one to tell ya, Mitch, Biden has been a sleazy opportunistic and partisan lowlife for decades. The man I saw at the podium yesterday was pretty familiar. Maybe you ought to get your nose out of the family business every once in awhile and tend to the Constitution you've promised to defend.

“I did not recognize the man at the podium yesterday.”

There’s the problem in a nutshell. Biden is the same corrupt SOB he’s always been; he’s just old and senile now. Mitch thinks his “good friend and colleague” has changed. Actually, Mitch knows better. Kentucky can do a lot better.

Mitch “The Bitch” McConnell is a weak, candy-ass, bottom-boy. McTurtle is more of a catcher than a pitcher - if you get my drift.

Hey, In an effort to bond with the crowd he keeps telling THEM about all of his arrests that never happened. Kinda like Hillary carrying a bottle of Hot Sauce.

PS: If he goes with Doo Wops, I'd like to hear his do "Shake me, Wake me" by the Four Tops.

McConnell’s word are good in this case; however, being the back-stabbing traitor he is, he should never be trusted.
