Over the past 13 years, from Obama to Trump and continuing through the Biden years, it has become increasingly challenging to discern truth from propaganda touted by our media and the political ruling class. January 6th 2021 was a horrible day in our history. A tragic, heart-breaking, insane, historically-paradigm shifting day for all of us. I'd never belittle the events of the attack on the Capitol. It felt surreal. The man in the Viking horns is bizarrely from my hometown. It is a deeply shameful moment in our history. BUT. At the same time, January 6th is not 9/11 or Pearl Harbor. It is not a day that was an act of war. It was not a terrorist attack that resulted in the deaths of thousands of Americans. I was absolutely disgusted that V.P. Harris would make such an intellectually dishonest comparison to our nation’s history. 4 people died on January 6th. But only 1 of those was caused by an act of violence being shot and killed by a Capitol Police officer. All of those losses are tragic. But to put this in proper perspective, nearly 3,000 people died in the attacks on 9/11. The attack on Pearl Harbor killed 2,403 U.S. personnel and destroyed 19 US. Navy ships leading to the dropping of 2 nuclear bombs on Japan. 9/11 led to America's longest war in Afghanistan, a 20-year conflict for which we are still seeing an average of 20 veterans a day commit suicide. January 6th is NOT the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It is NOT 9/11. It is disrespectful to all our veterans, alive and dead, to say so. There is no comparison between the wars that brave Americans have fought and died in to the riotous attack on the Capitol. It’s not just wrong. It’s stupid.

It wasn’t shameful. The outrageous amount of voter fraud and subsequent tossing aside of the real election results is what was shameful. The reaction to this was actually a bit on the light side, IMHO.
They actually know it as well. I mean not a single charge of sedition, treason or insurgency among all the arrests. Its political theater…. That is all…. Bad political theater.
She doesn’t get a pass for starting an article with a false premise. This is just old RINOs trying to recalibrate their message to stop the incoming kill shots from their voters. It’s sort of -— well we all know Trump wanted to start an insurrection, but hey we are stronger than that and we can’t let Nancy take power from us RINOs because of a few deplorables who were no threat to the country.

What she won’t charge anyone with is the dems with the let and leave of RINOs trying to turn a demonstration into a failed riot because blaming Trump and his deplorable supporters is part of the narrative.
They are just trying to divide the heard. Hey we know you are not really one of them and so let’s be friends again. The Cheneys / McCains branch of RINOism e.g. making nice with socialists so we can have our global wars supplied by our cronies in the swamp needs to die.

The more the left does this, the more ridiculous they look and sound. In turn, it makes DJT look more and more reasonable to people who before would never had considered it.
I don’t think it was shameful for the American people to express anger that the election was rigged.
The vast majority of those who protested are patriots, who protested a fraudulent election and the four year coup against a duly elected President. Now as a result many are being held in solitary confinement, with no bail, because of their politics and entering the so called “people’s house”. This is a shameful chapter in American history. Eventually, even with the complicit lying media the truth will prevail. RIP Ashlee Babbitt.
