“Big” is a relative term. So he gets a strong holiday bounce then “new jobs” added....then the media will add that to the “low” new employment claims but neglect to mention the 4 million that quit their jobs in the same time frame that makes it all null and void.

My eldest has been in management 2 decades up to district level, in Blue counties RED states, where crime/Covid are hot spots, he can’t retain workers more than a week. His district manager told him to start doing the ‘required’ NASAL RAPE’ test, got told I’m NOT MEDICALLY TRAINED’ get jabbed, masked, ‘FIRE ME’!. HE’S A 50 YR OLD TYPE 2 DIABETIC. And is Anti-Vax. Reads, vids NWO STUFF TOO. Very well informed.

I live in a small rural town pop 7 K, 1 grocery store, Kroger’s is the biggest employer, most PT, few FT. AS TN has a mostly Red governor he left it at if you want a jab get it, same for masks. But we have 4 Blue run counties, Memphis leads, which is Shelby Co. Jabs/masks are mandated, exodus has begun. Even blacks are fleeing. It is a combo of Very high Covid/Crime numbers. The shelves look like Venezuela’s. 1 not top end beef roast had a price tag of $201.92 yes you read that right. To save you have to buy required amounts. In a year prices have gone up $2.00 or more on the stuff that usually isn’t a regular sale item. Problem is major medical is located their. Including hospitals. Our nearest is full of Covid, and JUNKIES.
Gov cut off the UE. So some were forced to go back to work, but don’t stay long, job hop, when the mandates are forced. DQ makes them show proof. Which is not state legal.
Even in the more affluent smaller cities are rebelling,
