Their digital commerce is crushing it. It's bizarre that they didn't just implode, but they have curated an online selection that has real dominance in their niche -- a Hammacher Schlemmer for cat ladies.
Why someone like AMZN or WalMart doesn't snap them up is astounding -- the economies of scale would pay for the acquisition nearly instantly.

Yep, that’s my take as well.
Lindell is still in business and these stores won’t be.

How creepy. Will they pay their slaves in company store scrip also?

. . . There might be the occasional item in the “beyond” selections, but most of the merchandise seems to be overpriced . . .
Agreed. They are way overpriced and don’t offer much of anything that any other retailer doesn’t (and for less). I feel for their employees, especially management.

I can only speak for myself, but I don’t think Amazon caused the demise of these retail chains. I day this as someone who never liked online shopping but probably did more than 60% of my purchases online in 2020.
I don’t shop online to save money.
I don’t shop online for the convenience of home deliveries. In fact, for most products I PREFER to buy them in a store and check them out before buying them.
I ended up doing so much shopping online for one simple reason: I got tired of wasting time looking for products in retail stores only to find that they weren’t in stock. If you are in the retail business and you don’t even carry the merchandise you advertise and your customers come looking for, then you aren’t going to be in business for long.

Oh no, where will people got to buy all the crap advertised on television dial up ads, but need it now, not in 4 to 6 weeks?
To: Starboard
Maybe not in our lifetimes. But I prefer to remain optimistic.

They dropped Mike lindell over his pro US/pro voting integrity viewsI had heard that also, but I went to one of their stores near me to check it out, and they had Lindell's products on the shelf. I bought a couple of "My Pillows" that day (even though I didn't need them.)

Sheets, towels, curtains, and similar stuff over and over again. I’ll take an Ace Hardware over those any day.

I used to like that store but I have not set foot in one since they decided to get political with My Pillow. Smart move Beds Bath and Beyond. Maybe they should have just focused on selling products instead. Buh Bye BB&B

Hopefully my boycotting of Bed Bath and Beyond due to their canceling Mike Lindell has contributed to these store closures.
