Republicans are responsible. If gutless RINO Republicans had stood up to oppose the lies during the Trump administration, and if they had supported President Trump 1/6 would never have happened.

I’ve got this crazy belief that the actual Trump supporters were peaceful - they may have entered the Capitol but they weren’t causing damage or harm to anyone....it was the fake Trump supporters who were causing the mayhem. I feel like the violence was planned in advance by the rats, the FBI and their minions.
The problem to me is that Trump walked right into this - apparently never suspecting it would be used against him. What was intended to be a show of peaceful dissent was turned into the opposite. The rats are extremely bold and devious and even DJT wasn’t prepared for how bad they are.
They’re saying this was an attack on democracy - well the election was the real attack on our republic. I have to wonder if we’ll ever get it back - the rats, big money and media have done a really good job at destroying everything they oppose.

Karl Rove is something of a squish, as hard to nail down as a scoop of Jell-O. Never firmly in favor of Trump, his passive and tepid support of Trump only came along with a slavish belief in the supremacy of the Establishment wing of the Republicans, the stereotypes that are so actively promoted by both sides of the political aisle. Rove is fond of ducking behind his whiteboard discussions, and has no interest whatsoever in discussing points of policy, even as strategy.
Not just this one. Rush used to tie himself in knots trying to justify Bush’s actions. It got so bad that I quit listening for a couple of years. The mental gymnastics used to turn Bush’s liberalism into “stealth conservatism” were mind-boggling.

Rush was great when a DemonRAT was President. Not so much with a Republican. He was great though and we owe him a debt of gratitude.
