Manhattan’s newly sworn-in district attorney reportedly told his staff he does not intend to prosecute several crimes, including resisting arrest. At the same time New York City’s newly sworn-in mayor is pledging to crack down on surging crime.
Alvin Bragg, a former federal prosecutor sworn in as Manhattan District Attorney on Jan. 1, sent guidance to his office calling for the "decriminalization/non prosecution" for crimes including marijuana possession, turnstile jumping, trespassing, resisting arrest, interfering with an arrest and prostitution.

Fox news still thinks NYC is center of the universe.....it’s not.
Also, how do people live in that crap hole of a city....or state for that matter.

DeBlasio killed New York and dug the grave. Adams and his cronies are rolling the corpse into it and covering it with dirt. Anything that goes woke rots very quickly. No decent, rational person would voluntarily live, work, raise a family or send their kids to school in these Democratic run urban cesspools. Still it should never be forgotten that these Democrats did not emerge from a political or cultural vacuum. They do represent the values of the majority of people who live and vote in these horrible places.
Once its ruled no longer a crime there is no reason to fight it!

If the DA won’t cooperate, the short term solution is to arrest for misdemeanors and keep them as long as legally possible.
I see ny has dropped all charges agaisnt Cuomo onmthe nursing scandal case but but but, the left say “it’s not over yet, he still,faces the possibility of being charged by other agencies”... yeah sure he does- tell us another whopper!
Rob a bank, loot a store, scam a senior citizen and you’re safe doing it in NYC. As long as you don’t use a gun you’re OK.
Along with gerrymandering, dead voters voter fraud and rank voting. The people no longer have a fair system it’s all on a steal
Sounds like the new mayor wants to combat bad crime STATISTICS—the DA will simply ignore many of the crimes.
Hence, better crime RATES, regardless of the actual safety of the people.
