I agree. Unfortunately, a lot of weak and stupid GOP voters disagree. They’d rather surrender to violent Marxists and lose our near 250 years of American Heritage than politically fight them if it means getting a little bit dirty.

Biden learned early on to play the victim card. "Poor guy deserves sympathy because his wife and child were taken from him by a drunken truck driver who was probably a republican. He was arrested in South Africa just for opposing apartheid. When he met with those parents of soldiers killed needlessly in Afghanistan, he knew exactly how they felt because he had lost a son to cancer. His wife was the first member of her family to ever be able to attend a university". All lies, all calculated to garner sympathy. And the lie about his wife going to college was stolen from someone else. The guy has no concept of truth. No wonder his brain is addled.

If you love dogs, that is an awful thing. He had their vocal cords cut out. Of beagles. That is like a frontal lobotomy for beagles. Cut out because their howling annoyed the staff. It makes me angry to consider.
When I was going to college, I worked part time as a lab assistant in a Pharmacology department at a Medical School, and they had a lab they ran once a year for the medical students that used live dogs in an animal lab.
I had to transport the dogs from the holding area to the large lab and help prepare them for the experiments, after which, they were euthanized.
It was awful for me.
The dogs were not mistreated in any way (except for the obvious confinement and eventual euthanization) and were never in any real physical discomfort since they were put under before the students showed up and then kept under, and during the experiments, they were given various cardiac and other drugs by the students who observed how various drugs acted, could be counteracted, etc.
But I hated it. I loved dogs, and owned a Golden Retriever at the time, who I adored.
And when I went to get the cages, the dogs were beautiful dogs, tail wagging dogs, obviously in good health with glossy coats and smiling faces. And they were all purebreds. Goldens, Labs, Huskies, even a Chow. All beautiful. All good natured. I didn’t ask at the time why that was so, but I have often wondered why they didn’t use mutts from pounds who were likely going to be euthanized anyway.
And I wondered often where those dogs came from. I always suspected that the dogs had been snatched off the streets by thugs for money, not given up by owners who didn’t want them anymore, though I suppose that was possible.
Things were different then. Long ago.
I think that is what makes it even more despicable...it can’t garner him more than a percentage point or so of sympathy, but...it seems more like he ENJOYS lying about it.
Who knows, Joe may actually love Jill. But Jill? Her insistence on being referred to as Dr Jill Biden tells a lot. And I think she married JB (1) because him being a senator gave her that much more status and (2) she was hoping to go even higher and did with the VP office and now she's First Lady. She's a cold calculating arrogant vain woman.

Absolutely dead-on. Fifty years in federal government and he was never anything more than a partisan hack who could be counted on to faithfully toe the party line whatever it was that day.

In the mid 90s I had to stop taking my beloved Minny the Ibizan Hound everywhere I went because labs were paying big money for purebred dogs.
It’s still happening but dropped into the oubliette.
Every time I see a dog yelling its existence, alone in a car, I stay put and watch over it until its idiot owner comes back and then I give them the stats.
One night this past summer, a Schnauzer was in a car with the windows almost full down, barking its head off.
In the first moments I sat there, having just come out of the grocery store, one of Obama’s sons cruised by slowly, looking at that car.
He did this again, twice, not seeing me.
I slid down low, to watch what happened.
He drove off but came back a few minutes later, even slower, looking around to see if anyone was around.
[it was almost closing time for the store and hardly any cars were there]
At that point, I popped back up and he saw me, watching him, and zipped off...but he only went halfway across the parking lot and stopped, where there were no lights and he just sat there in the dark, waiting to see if I would leave.
[that was when I pulled the ball bat out from behind the seat because not on my watch]
Then the nice little old clueless black lady came back to her car and I got out and informed her of what I’d just watched happen and she was shocked.
Swore it would never happen again.
When I pointed out the car in the distance, the dude tore off like mad and ran the stop signs.
Okay, fine.
However, a few months later, I pulled into “my space” and there was another woman reaming her out, nowhere near as nice and diplomatic as I had been.
She’d left the dog in the car *again* and learned nothing.
For the past several years, small dogs, like Yorkies and such, are stolen from their yards [because no one is watching them] and later, you’ll be approached by another usual suspect, who opens his hoodie to show you the terrified little dog he has “for sale, cheap”, for dope money.
Dogs from a hundred miles away have been found here because they snatch them from the cities south of here and come up here to sell them.
Thank God for microchips...at least for some of the luckier dogs.

But as to what they feel for one another, who knows? They don't seem to actually hate each other. People living together get co-dependent and become partners who rely on each other. So I can't say what their feelings for are. I also can't say that what they were up to in the Seventies didn't reflect some feeling for each other.
Think of the Queen's uncle and Wallis Simpson. Whatever you think of them, there was something emotional going on there and they became dependent on each other.
Sociopaths only really love themselves.

I don’t know what goes on now, but I suspect that if they still do live animal labs in medical schools or places like that, they not only look for chips, they look for evidence of a removed chip.
At least from the reputable middlemen, which if they still do those labs, I hope they have to employ.
