10% across the board- EVERYONE pays. No need for expensive tax accountants. No need for lobbyists trying to carve out exemptions. All those do is add wealth-destroying costs.
AND THE GOVERNMENT MUST LIVE WITHIN THAT 10%!!!!
And no PRE-BATES. That is a sure recipe for failure. Every democrat will be trying to out-do the next with amount of ‘pre-bate’ they will offer.
And tax calculated just like sales tax. If sales tax is 7% and you buy something for $100- quick, how much is the tax? yes that’s right $7. The final price is $107.
Now ... how much is the ‘tax-inclusive’ price? NO ONE can calculate that in their heads. And its HIDDEN.
And anyone here who argues for that is a government ‘troll’ promoting the ‘fair tax’.
CONVENTION OF STATES is how we get that done.
The constitution had no income tax.
The original income tax was 2% for millionaires.
Yet, here you are with 10% for everyone. No thanks. The federal government does not need that much money.
