His main complaint now is that all the crap is still in bill, but the timelines were shortened on much of it...hence the bill is, technically, cheaper. But Manchin (and the entire world) knows that once this crap is put in place it never goes away...and the net cost will wind up being the same in 10 years (at least 3.5T).

Manchin will support a bill roughly half that size if the numbers are real...meaning that if the Dems lop off 50% of what’s in today’s bill.

If I had to predict, at this point, the Dems will take as much as Manchin will give them and they’ll pass their (smaller) bill...but still without a single RINO voting for it.
