Joe Perillo, a high-end car dealer in Chicago, claims Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s and Cook County Attorney Kim Foxx’s lax law enforcement policies are building a “network of thieves.”
Perillo’s Gold Coast Exotic Motors, which includes an elite fleet of vehicles, including Bentleys, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris, was the target of a smash and grab robbery on Saturday, and the thieves allegedly stole over a million dollars worth of luxury watches.
The Chicago City Wire reported on the crime and Perillo’s reaction:
Perillo had just left and was visiting another location in Downers Grove when the smash-and-grab happened. He has gained some renown after a passionate interview to Fox 32 in the aftermath of the theft.
“I said two words. ‘Enough is enough’ is how I started the interview. I’ve been bombarded by people all over the country. My emails are blowing up … people that know people that I know are getting out, they feel sorry for me,” he told AM 560’s The Morning Answer.
More than for himself, Perillo said he feels bad for his residential neighbors who do not feel safe or protected on the city’s streets. He said it is time to start a campaign.
“They want to take their kids out for a walk and are afraid,” Perillo said. “People want to go to dinner and they don’t know if they’re going to get stuck up. This is the city of Chicago, a city that works OK and I’m just fed up with it and everyone is texting ‘enough is enough.’ So I’d like to start a movement. An ‘Enough is enough’ movement.”

According to the mayor (who he probably voted for), Mr Perillo is obviously not providing enough security for his own properties and it’s his fault these people are criminals

Quick summary: He got what he voted for. Now he would like to complain about it.
I’ve been saying for well over a year, the thing that antifa and BLM have in common is being anti law-and-order. BLM is more effective because they use “civil rights” as a shield to attack police who have negative interactions with minorities, but if you listen to the gestalt of all over their time, you start to form a picture that all this is about creating cover for organized crime groups. I believe many politicians are in at some level, although probably not directly with above mentioned organizations at all, because I believe there is a large hierarchy of structure that includes like minded groups and individuals (some foreign) as well as the deep state. The end game isn’t the organized crime itself though. The end game is growing and monetizing the destabilization of our social order and more importantly our capitalist republic. The leftist controlled urban areas in question are the vanguard. At some point they will become equivalent to europe’s no-go-zones and the criminal element will have free reign
How is it possible that city leaders believe what is going on now is OK? I do not get the mindset needed to allow this to happen.
Maybe they’re getting a percentage of the take.

I know what to do. Pull the police who are guarding Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Cook County Attorney Kim Foxx and then see if their policy on law enforcement changes.
Take a look at the Chicago Board of Elections website where you will find many, many precincts where they claim 95% turnout in the 2020 election.
You couldn't get that turnout in those neighborhoods if you offered a free bucket of chicken and complimentary quart of malt liquor.
There is no one old enough to remember the last time Chicago or Cook County had a free and fair election.
In November 2020 the Dems just extended the same ballot stuffing technique in Detroit, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Phoenix and Atlanta to hand the election to the current junta whose front is the senile pants crapper we now call President.
As usual, I file this article in the folder labeled, "Duh!"
But the far-left socialist/communist Democrat Party Cabal (which includes RINOs) always responds: "Systemic Racism! Defund the Police! Buy Black! Institutional Racism! Inclusion! White Privilege! Reparations! Free College, Free Housing, and Free Healthcare! Black Lives Matter! Safe spaces! Diversity! ... etc. ..."

I’m surprised Perillo, growing up where he did, knowing guys who know guys, did not reach out to those guys to help make things right.....
