Philadelphia health officials have called on residents to avoid hosting inter-household holiday gatherings this year to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Fox News 29 reports:
On Monday, health officials stated that the city has seen COVID-19 infections rate double in the past few weeks, and hospitalizations increase by about 50%. The city announced a new vaccine mandate impacting indoor dining establishments would be implemented on Jan. 3 in response to the rising case counts.
They followed up Monday’s mandate announcement with new guidance for holiday gatherings.

Unlike last year, all but the truly scared or most liberal are going to ignore this advice.
For Philly, sounds like a good plan, not for preventing spread of Covid, but for reducing the potential for gun violence.
These “health officials” (i.e., unelected bureaucrats) aren’t important enough to be deemed “tyrants” ... “bullies” is the more fitting expression ... and everyone knows how best to deal with bullies ...

We frogs in the kettle have been asking this question for about 20 years now. I honestly don’t know what it’s going to take. Maybe the Vaccine Passports, which are looming on the horizon. Will we fight THAT, or is our Stockholm syndrome, or basic ennui, too strong?

”Health officials” do not make law. These little bureaucrats are power-tripping hard but they have no power.
They probably think they do because that Fauci acts like he does.
Ignore their unconstitutional orders and this ends.

Given that the "City of Brotherly Love" is exceeding it's previous 1990 murder rate of 500, I think that I can be pardoned for a 'first glance' read of; "Philadelphia Officials Warn Against Hosting Holiday Gatherings Involving Multiple Homicides"!
