U.S. court rejects bid to end Trump-era 'Remain in Mexico' border policy

A U.S. appeals court on Monday rejected a renewed attempt by the Biden administration to end a policy put in place by former President Donald Trump that forced tens of thousands of migrants to wait in Mexico for the resolution of their U.S. asylum cases.

In a Monday night ruling, the court said the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) "claims the power to implement a massive policy reversal — affecting billions of dollars and countless people — simply by typing out a new Word document and posting it on the internet.

"DHS has come nowhere close to shouldering its heavy burden to show that it can make law in a vacuum," the judges wrote in a 117-page opinion.

In compliance with the court's order, the administration began sending the first asylum seekers back to Mexico again last week.

The number of migrants caught crossing the U.S.-Mexico border has soared to record highs this year, sparking criticism from Republicans.

Remain in Mexico is exact process according to the international law!
Refugees (real) should claim asylum in the first country where it is safe for them to do it! Presumably Mexico or even any other country they pass through.
Then they can apply for resettlement to whatever country they want and which will agree to take them!
Make sense, people who are in real danger of life or limb will take the refuge in any place. People, who are just shopping for better country to live, are not refugees!

It’s a court order based on U.S. foreign policy for ‘refugees’. Refugee status requires the applicant to seek refuge in the the first country that removes the danger from ‘fleeing’ by accepting refugees. Mexico and the U.S., among many other countries, have adopted this common foreign policy. Our domestic courts have no authority to question foreign policy, except for our administrative courts in the State Dept.

Thanks to President Trump for nominating all the conservative judges. We’d be in a world of hut without them.

We’ve won on vaccine mandates, “Stay in Mexico” and several others.

A pyrrhic victory considering the millions that have been welcomed into the country and its welfare systems already...

There is zero chance these vermin will be sent back to Mexico...

In any case, the floodgates are still open and the rape of the U,S. continues no matter what the ruling said...
