IIRC, the customary penalty for contempt of court is to be arrested and held until the contempt is remedied...

This bullcrap would stop within hours of the hospital top administrators spending a weekend (I say weekend, because it would be much more fun if the bailiff forcibly removed them from their Friday night cocktail party in full view of everyone there) and with the court closed for the weekend, they cannot demonstrate their compliance, if any, until court is in session Monday.

Better over Christmas or New Years weekend.

Of course should Mrs. Davies die due to medical neglect in violation of a direct court order, no remedy of the contempt is possible.
