Went to college in the 1980’s. Basically a few liberal professors, the type that grew up in the 1960’s with anti-war and anti-racists views. Okay, fine.
Then went to grad school in 1990. Probably, no undoubtedly, the fall of the Soviet Union got their goat. It went insane with all this hokey multiculturalism and diversity nonsense. It’s not like we did not have minorities in the 1980’s, we just didn’t give it a second thought.
I graduated high school in ‘05 and went to a community college during the ‘06-’07 year (I was very sick and had to take a year off), and even in a traditionally conservative area like mine, the campus was rife with corruption and Leftism. I was discriminated against for my views in at least one course, and discriminated against in another due to my poor health. Amazingly, I got that professor fired.
She was a, “Gender Studies” teacher, and fabulously Leftist. I was going into kidney failure, and she had a very strict policy regarding absences. I made my health problems known, and she stated that if I, “had cancer I still wouldn’t give you any exception.” That didn’t go over well with the head nurse at the college, where I was almost every day puking my guts up.
I wound up on dialysis and went back eight years later... My God, it was awful. The professors are intolerable due to incompetence or Leftism or both.
I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to finish due to a number of circumstances, my health being one of them.
