If covid had a 40 percent death rate like smallpox or cholera or bubonic plague, I might agree.

But covid, like influenza, mainly kills the vulnerable, so shots should be mandatory for caregivers or those who visit nursing homes or hospitals, as we did during previous flu epidemics.

The high risk should be encouraged to get the vaccine but not mandated unless they are in a nursing home.

Ditto for the military who are in combat related units, who could get sick during callup and affect military readiness.

Mandating vaccine for everyone doesn't make sense.

And hiring a token transvestite who put covid positive patients into nursing homes while taking his mom out of one to keep her safe suggests a lot of this is political.

Ditto banning non proven medicines from patients is a war crime.

By the way, the newest omnicrom varient is even milder and the hysteria over it ignores reality.
