How about Georgia? They don’t all have to come from California.
I’m in Real Estate. And you better believe that people from New York, California, Nevada(showing properties today to a family from Las Vegas), Illinois, Oregon etc. are moving to Alabama. It doesn’t take “millions” a year. Thousands each year will do it.
Why are they moving here, now? Property is comparably low priced. Going up though partially because people moving from out of state will pay more than natives. Taxes. Property taxes are very low currently. Compared to say...Illinois or California. Weather. Ever been to Chicago in the winter? Building regulations. Relaxed comparatively. And along with that cost of living. Plus several other things.
So no. Millions of Californians are not moving to our state. Just takes a few thousand a year from all Blue states to make a big difference.
