When the SA says that “ The Salvation Army occasionally publishes internal study guides on various complex topics”, doesn't that imply that it was approved by the Salvation Army? Someone at the top had to approve it and have it distributed. In that case, they are gaslighting those who object to the SA now supporting CRT philosophy.

The salvation army runs its organization like the military that means there is a clear line of authority for all actions. there is no study guide that is handed out that is not approved from someone in the upper ranks of the organization. they use a military system of rank with a chain of command. there is a person within leadership that is responsible who is now trying to use its structure of command to not take responsibility.
