Far from a first time purchase, but I am going to ‘pull the trigger’ and place an order for a S&W M&P 2.0 in 10mm. very soon. Cannot decide on 4” or 4.6”. Both are standard 15+1. Optional thumb safety as well.

Just my opinion, that’s going to be a full size frame whether you go 4 or 4.6 inch. Given that it’s essentially a magnum caliber, I’d go big or go home. 4.6 inch.
I’d go 5 or 5.5 inch in that caliber if it were an option.
