It confuses some on the right when Soros refers to his youth under Nazi occupation as “the happiest time of my life” and “a positive experience.” Just as any leftist would, rightists hear those words and unthinkingly go straight to “A-ha! He admits it! He’s a Nazi!”

It's a disease of baby boomer leftists who graduated from top schools having done nothing but smoke week, protest, and tell each other how cool they were and getting A+s by aping what their sociology professors lectured them on. Having learned to suck up to their college professors, they went on to jobs sucking up to the greatest generation rather than learning to do anything. When those guys retired their suckups got their jobs running the whole place, and voila we have the current mess. Those white people should have anxiety disorders. They are clueless jerks who have created the present mess of things. Even worse are their RINO sycophants who were happy getting Cs while goofing off entirely.

Interesting read. We have known for years that leftists only care about how something makes them feel and not on actual outcome. This explains their obsession with climate change. They can’t explain how spending $10 trillion dollars to “fight climate change” will accomplish anything but they believe that somehow it will. Government spending is their equivalent of penitence. And since it’s mostly other peoples’ money, it’s fairly painless for them.

I read that Soros made his “happiest days” comment to mean his working as a KAPO (a Jew who aided/helped the Nazis) in collecting personal property/possessions for them from exporters to the death camps.

They a (early term) Gen-Xers that accomplished what you wrote.
Middle-class, white boomers who are still in the work-place are the target.
