Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen in a new interview said the COVID-19 pandemic is the cause for the record inflation increase the U.S. is seeing nationwide.

Asked by host Margaret Brennan on Sunday in a pre-taped interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation” if she is confident prices for the average American will be back at normal levels by next November, Yellen said it “really depends on the pandemic.”

> the COVID-19 pandemic is the cause for the record inflation <

I’ll bet that Yellen really, really wanted to blame Global Warming too. But she couldn’t bring herself to tell that big of a fib.

Take a deep breath and just say it, Janet. You can do it!

They/he gave us an epidemic.... and then withheld the meds that would have gotten most victims well at home. No meds could be found! .. locked up and unavailable! Why?

So the victims went to a hospital where they got well or died there. they counted the deaths.. all deaths, as Covid deaths.

I feel like my country is some strange land where the gnats have taken over and no one has a spray to get rid of them.

The lies just keep piling up.

Yellen, who is responsible for you being an annoying Karen who enabled leftists for years, with UC Berkeley and Harvard ties?

Bill Clinton advisor (Pres. Bill Clinton’s Council of Economic Advisers until 1999) and Obama (”Pres. Barack Obama nominated her as the next head of the Federal Reserve System. There was some controversy surrounding her nomination, mainly because many Republicans believed that she would place too much emphasis on reducing unemployment and not enough on controlling inflation.”) source Brittanica biography

Odd that she was accused of being easy on fighting inflation
all that time ago.

I won't embarrass 51% of the people who voted in the Dem Pelosi House in 2018 and 2020 and later the Senate 50-50 split, and Biden and Harris in power, by rubbing that in now. Oops, I just did.

Everything ... she’s on the Xiden team. Xiden isn’t responsible for inflation ... Wuflu is. This virus is very powerful - it kills some people, makes many more sick, causes people to lose their jobs, lose constitutional rights, breaks up close family and friend relationships, cause rioting and burning down cities, exposes systemic racism, and now we find out it causes inflation.

OK Janet ... poor pitiful Xiden and the demonkkkrap gubners, no matter how much they are trying to help people, they just unfairly get blamed.

America’s oil and natural gas industry supports 10.3 million jobs in the United States and nearly 8 percent of our nation’s Gross Domestic Product.

Progs are committed to destroy that industry. Part of the plan is to increase gas prices to make EVs more attractive. Create the crisis. Then blame the crisis for the massive transformation of society they wanted in the first place. Typical tactics for them.

Americans Need to Learn to Live More Like Europeans

Supply-chain shortages are constraining U.S. consumers' endless appetite for buying whatever they want whenever they want. It's about time.

It's become the conventional wisdom that the U.S. economy is built on Americans' endless appetite to buy lots and lots of stuff. Household consumption makes up about 67% of GDP. When the economy falters, we're told spending is our patriotic duty. But suddenly, Americans can’t spend like they used to. Store shelves are emptying, and it can take months to find a car, refrigerator or sofa. If this continues, we may need to learn to do without — and, horrors, live more like the Europeans. That actually might not be a bad thing, because the U.S. economy could be healthier if it were less reliant on consumption.

Americans Need to Learn to Live More Like Europeans
