Wow! The electrical grid is vulnerable. You know what we should do then? We should build more electric cars so we depend on electricity even more!

The British did this against the German war machine using thousands of weather balloons trailing thin metal wires with moderate success in occupied Europe.
Anyone with any rudimentary knowledge of how an electrical system works, would know that a fairly decent sized drone targeted at a transformer in a substation would do tremendous damage at worst, temporary large outages at best.
