Republican Virginia Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin garnered more support from Hispanic voters than Democrat Terry McCauliffe, a Fox News exit poll shows.
According to the poll, 54 percent of Hispanic voters backed Youngkin and 45 percent cast their ballots for McCauliffe — a nine percentage point difference for Virginia’s fastest-growing ethnic group.
In pre-election analysis from the Washington Post, dean of the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University Mark J. Rozell noted that Latino voters are an “emerging powerhouse in Virginia politics.”
“It can make a critical, perhaps, the critical difference in this election,” Rozell correctly forecasted.

Democrats relied on blacks while ignoring hispanics.

Thinking ahead. Unable to run for reelection in 2025. Should he run for Senate in ‘24? Some say POTUS-getting ahead of ourselves. What’s better-turning the office over to the good Lt. Gov. or spending the last year as a lame duck? His attraction to the hispanics should not be left to cool down. A black Lt. Gov. should not be wasted. No tokenism here like the rats do with the blacks.
Hispanics are more amenable to the GOP than Asians as they are culturally western and actually have testosterone.

I think the Hispanics are more interested in the safety and education of their children than are the blacks who think that the Democrats will give them more free stuff. Free stuff is more important than reading, writing and arithmetic which are just white constructs and apparently mean nothing to them.

Youngkin ran ads in the last few weeks promising to do away with the grocery tax in Virginia. Yes, believe it or not, Virginia taxes most groceries. This may have had an effect on the Hispanic vote, since they often have large families and buy many groceries.
I think the Hispanics are more interested in the safety and education of their children than are the blacks who think that the Democrats will give them more free stuff. Obviously it’s never accurate to speak about entire blocks of people with such broad brush strokes but I think this is a valid contrast. What I think is most disconcerting is the number of white people who just want free stuff. They might be the largest group going in that direction. In several decades, you might end up with majorities of blacks and whites who constitute the entitlement voting block and the Hispanics/latinx who are social/fiscal conservatives.
Now, brandon, how about that “wall” down south?

At some point those hispanics who are here are not going to want anymore competition from those wanting to get in. And they’re going to favor policies that afford them better economic opportunities. Many will probably start voting R.
Once Dems realize this political reality they will decide to complete building the wall with great urgency.

Most hispanics are 65%+ European by DNA. They consider themselves white and are very likely to intermarry with non-hispanic whites. They have zero use for CRT and don't want it taught to their kids.
If the trend continues, democrats will be the ones who secure the southern border. Wouldn’t that be ironic!

The Dems will never support a secure border. Hispanics (among other foreigners) constantly coming is the only way the Dems can counteract the American Hispanics who are increasingly turning Republican. Trump, for example, got a much, much lower percentage of the vote from Hispanic immigrants or children of immigrants than the vote of Hispanics with roots in the US. Roughly speaking, third-generation and above Hispanics vote almost like whites, while Hispanic immigrants vote almost like blacks. The Dems will always want this steady stream flooding in to prevent the assimilation of Hispanics into US culture, which makes them significantly more inclined to vote R.
Of course, as we’ve already seen the Dems will encourage more reliably Dem illegals to come like Haitians, which is another reason they need the border to remain open.
