In the fog of the crappy news coming out of Biden’s America, with the eighty-one million supporters he has (snicker snicker), it is refreshing to, on occasion, find a surprising news nugget. America’s backbone may be stiffening on getting the COVID jab to keep your job.
I’m encouraged by this small ray of sunshine.
I’m sure most everyone by now has heard of some of the bigger instances of employees giving the middle finger salute to mandates. Probably the one that DEMANDED news coverage was the Southwest pilots saying “no mas” which effectively shut down air travel for a whole bunch of people. While a number of businesses capitulated to the impending mandates ahead of implementation, many have been faced with resistant employees. News has come from Southwest Airlines that they are stepping back from the strong implementation of the mandate. By December 8, employees were set to either be vaccinated or face what was essentially a furlough. Now the company has changed that stance, as it has been facing pushback from a number of areas.
In a letter sent to employees, it is now saying that those who are remaining unvaccinated due to medical reasons or religious opposition will be placed under review while retaining their employment status.
Southwest’s senior vice president of operations and hospitality, Steve Goldberg, and Julie Weber, vice president and chief people officer, wrote to staff on Friday that if employees’ requests for an exemption haven’t been approved by Dec. 8, they could continue to work while following mask and distancing guidelines until the request has been reviewed.
“This is a change from what was previously communicated. Initially, we communicated that these Employees would be put on unpaid leave and that is no longer the case,” they wrote in the note, which was reviewed by CNBC.
Well, now comes news that possibly mainstream America is catching some of that Southwest pilot fever (the kind of fever you want to catch) and willing to quit their job rather than get jabbed. A new study was done by the Kaiser Family Foundation and I’m a bit surprised at the numbers.
First up, if you had a choice of getting the jab or doing weekly testing this is what KFF found…
When unvaccinated workers are asked what they would do if their employer required them to either get the COVID-19 vaccine or undergo weekly COVID-19 testing, 11% say they would be most likely to get the vaccine, nearly half (46%) would opt for weekly testing, and over a third (37%) say they would be likely to leave their job. This represents 1% of all adults who would get the vaccine if faced with an employer mandate and 5% who say they would leave their job.
So just 11% of those polled would just get the shot. The number of people who would opt for weekly testing jumps to 46% and those giving the bird on the way out the door is a healthy 37% which is quite respectable. Now, what would happen if the employer required you to get the jab to keep your job?
If their employer did not offer an option for weekly testing, the share of unvaccinated workers who say they would get the vaccine increases to 17% (2% of all adults), and the share saying they would leave their job increases to 72% (9% of all adults).
About 6 in 10 unvaccinated workers (59%) say they would be likely to apply for an exemption if their employer implemented a vaccine requirement, including 27% who would apply for a religious exemption and 16% who would apply for a medical one.
I have to admit that the 72% of those questioned here would leave their job really stunned me.
Ten years ago, if people in this country were given the choice to take a shot or keep their livelihood I would have said 80% would have given the one-finger salute. After what we have seen over the past 15 months, I have been disheartened with what I thought was the breaking of the American people and their spirit to just roll over to do what they are told.
Now though, this poll gives me some hope.
Maybe there are still enough Americans who are willing to stand up and tell the government of the people by the people and for the people that WE THE PEOPLE have had enough of this nonsense.
Maybe we can stop the founders from spinning in their graves on one issue.
I hope people are able to assist those who might lose their jobs over the vaccine mandates. Our only kid, who works hard and has been employed for over 6 years, has been told by us that we’ll provide financial support if they decide not to take the vaccine.

In the thread there are links to YouTube vids of some of the FDA hearing where pro-vax docs are complaining there is just no good data to convince the vaccine hesitant.
They will have to fire me, I will not take that shot.

Many of us would gladly get a vaccine that was safe. If you stepped on a rusty nail and did not know if you had your tetanus shot, you would get the shot as a precaution. I did. But no way am I getting this vaccine.

The article also discusses the various races between mRNA vaccine producers, and those using more tried and established vaccine methodologies. I tried to transfer some quotes but was unsuccessful in getting them blue-lined. At any rate one said that in mid 2020 only 2 mRNA vaccines looked promising, but 9 more traditional vaccines had reached a comparable level. The article further stated that trials of Novavax showed it was as effective as the two main US vaccines but had fewer and milder side effects. I had read elsewhere that its trials were run when the Delta variant was becoming present so might specifically be better for Delta. It also uses technology similar to that for producing whooping cough (pertussis) vaccine which has been around for a long time and is still given to children and adults. Therefore we need to ask why Novavax is NOT being made available in this country for those who want to avoid the mRNA vaccines. Is Pfizer blocking them for its own benefit???

The reason is simple.
TPTB want to make billions off of damaging and murdering millions of what they deem as useless eater indigenous citizens. And elderly citizens in particular, to lower social security payouts.
This is why.
I left mine, took a serious paycut. I was not moving during the winter and my company was all out sending “educators” to meet with people like me. Problem is, immunology, virology and statistics are part of my education and daily work. I know how they make viruses. I said to my husband, shut the darn lab door when I first heard it. I also said how does a single strand of rna make a 3D protein without hijacking my own mechanisms. 1+0=1.. so the educators didn’t come to me.
Make them fire you. Then you can sponge on unemployment while you get another job. Do not give the tyrants the satisfaction of quitting.
In every state I'm aware of it you're fired for cause then you don't qualify for unemployment.

I’ve been at my current employer 12 years and have a pretty high profile position as an absolute expert in my field. The previous 18 years was at another employer in the same field. Before that I was an end user of many of the products.
I am fully prepared to be told not to return to work because I am taking a stand against an unknown substance being forcibly injected into my body.

The keyword here is “development”.
Novavax’s protein substack based vaccine technology has been proven in many previous vaccines of the same type like Hepatitis A and Tetanus.
The problem with Novavax is PRODUCTION. Development and Testing is one part. Ensuring production passes safety and quality standards are another. They haven’t satisfied the US FDA in regards to the latter, that’s why their vaccine’s EUA status is in limbo right now...
