Funny I never get a good response when I crash a wedding.
When the wife and I got married we both agreed from the get go that we would not be married in any country club or hotel ballroom. It was a decent size but we found a wonderful historic building and rented it out fairly cheap. That gave us enough cash to have an open bar and hors d’oeuvres served before the ceremony. Because another thing we both agreed on, it’s rude to invite guests only to have them linger around for an hour or more without serving them food and drinks. Because these things never start on time.
But I digress.
Where’s the groom? why, on the right, obviously.

In any event, yeah, an actual wedding requires a bride and a groom by definition. What Tom Hanks said wasn’t crazy or inappropriate - it was what was going on at this “wedding”
