No matter; when the full self drive electric trucks swarm in, this will all be moot. They are building factors to make them now. Good or bad, they are coming. I hope all the truckers have been contributing to their retirement funds.
Autonomous trucking is already operating. They still need a butt in the seat. Those asses just won’t be paid as well as now.
