So what is the real reason for mandating this?
It seems like some of the information must be missing or out of context.
What the article seems to be drawing attention to are the two columns showing, on the one hand, the unvaccinated, and on the other, those who’ve had more than two doses of a vaccine more than 14 days previously (the columns with the red boxes).
Comparing those, the death rates (so far) seem lower for those younger than 50 who have taken two doses of a vaccine, but then are higher for older people.
As the article says:
“1,270 out of 1,500 [80-year-olds] were fully vaccinated. 607 of the 70-year-olds out of 800 were fully vaccinated. 258 out of the 411 60-year-olds… they were almost all fully vaccinated.”
Given those numbers, it’s hard to see how the numbers in the last two columns were arrived at. If among 80-year-olds, there were 192 deaths among the unvaccinated, but 1,272 among those who had the two doses during the weeks in question, then where does the much lower death rate per 100,000 people come from for the vaccinated? Some explanation must be missing. Perhaps it’s somewhere in the actual report but not mentioned in this article.

Something doesn’t add up, though.
Take a look at the two columns that say “Unvaccinated” and “Second dose greater than/equal to 14 days before specimen date.” Among people 50 and older, the numbers seem to be much higher in the latter.
In the chart you posted, for example, among 80-year-olds, the number of unvaccinated is 125, while the number of those with two vaccine doses is 1,259. So it’s hard to reconcile that with what’s in the right two columns. I haven’t yet checked to see if the report is available online, but wonder if there’s an explanation for that discrepancy within it somewhere.

The right columns are the rate of hospitalization per 100,000 individuals. The columns to the left are just the raw total number of people in each column. For example, if 99% of the population is vaccinated, and the vaccine is not effective, you would have 99% of the hospitalizations in the vaccinated. However if 90% of the hospitalized are vaccinated, rather than 99%, it means the vaccines reduce the change of hospitalization by 90%. The 1 percent of un-vaccinated would be 10 percent of the hospitalized, 10 times more than their prevalence in the population.

One people realized that there is no valid Covid test and they are misclassifying flu and pneumonia and then denying those people treatment, the ‘Covid’ illness numbers became less important. Oh, then the CDC decided to run PCR ‘tests’ at cycles higher for unvaccinated than for vaccinated to make the vaccinated have fewer false positives. Oh, and the CDC admitted in May that only 6% of the “Covid’ death count actually had Covid as their only diagnosis (likely flu or pneumonia or both) while the other 95% had an average of 4 co-morbidities.
The Covid illness numbers are fake. The fake surge is Covid ‘vaccine’ injuries. Those who want us dead without a conventional war with China are using our medical system to put us down like rabid dogs with vaccines, false diagnosis, appalling denial of reasonable treatment, insistent on toxic/lethal treatments (Rembdesivir and ventilators.)
It’s war. They are killing Americans nice ‘n quiet through our medical system.
We have a couple of “doctors” on here who claim only unvaxxed are in their hospital. They think we are stupid.

It could cause one to believe there are some who are simply attracted to apocalyptic fantasies. Now that the vaccines seem to be controlling the virus, they’ve created conspiracy fantasies that the vaccines will bring the apocalypse.
