“28 workers called in sick on Oct. 9, which he described as not unusual. “ Out of how many? And let’s see the historical records on call-ins.

Stranded in Coupeville with their electric Priuses. Who will hear the lamentations of the V-hatters? And how can they escape the threat of the Unvaxxed among them? They’re ON A FRICKIN’ ISLAND. And the ferrys are not complying. It’s a bad time to be Sophisticated. sigh

I lived on Bainbridge Island for 15 years. Loved it there, but sometimes had to go into the city to shop or see doc. Ferries are terrific. At least at that time, they were. Clean, comfy, served great coffee and a decent meal if you wanted it. non-smoking except in a special cabin. You could drive on or leave your car in a parking lot and walk on.

No clue how people can survive without ferries. From Bainbridge, it’s a six-mile swim in icy water. Or horribly long drive ...I forget how to do that, but it’s possible. Scariest bridge in the world involved in that trek.

I think it’d be shocking to everyone if people gave up these jobs,” Brazeau said. “They’re great jobs, they’d be giving up a pension, a retirement,

If they are older workers and are close to retirement, this may be the perfect time to go.

If they are young workers and don't want the vaxx, they will have plenty of time to look for work elsewhere.

The only slaves that have to follow orders are the "in-between" group.

Most ferry workers have practically no contact with the public, unless you fall asleep in your car.

Some people don’t understand the concept of freedom. This is such a person. “We treated the slaves well. Why did they run away!?”
